DIS Danish Interpretation Systems

In autumn 2010 DIS - Danish Interpretation Systems installed a new conferencing and voting system at the Danish ParliamentThe system is unique in terms of the level of integration aswell as the client-server/terminal server platform.All 200 seats are in LAN network and connected to terminal servers wherethe SW 6000 software is installed. Each seat units consists of 8" touch screen,loudspeaker, card reader, channel selector and mini-jack as well as a thinclientPC running RDC. The DCS 6000 system is fully integrated with AMXcamera control system, graphics solution Vista Spider URS providing thegraphics for the Parliament TV. And of course also fully integrated with theStreaming to the web. Sound is supplied to the multichannel recorder MURF,to the internal PA system and to Parliament TV as well. Two 103" Panasonicplasma screens are used for showing voting result, agenda and speakers list.New functionality and new modules to SW 6000 has been developed forthis project in order to accommodate vast requirements for parliamentaryoperations, what should be underlined is the full integration with the user'sexisting document handling system -- TingDoc. In other words, all meetingdata like meeting name, date, agenda, delegate information is imported toeach meeting, used, amended and then exported to the TingDoc system.All this put together makes the new DCS 6000 system a state-of-the-artsolution.Contact DIS for more information - www.dis.cc
