How Long Will It Take to Download?
This is one of the most frequent questions we get. Factors affecting download time:
- Your modem's speed and whether it uses compression
- The type of information in a file (text or binary data)
- The performance of the Internet between your computer and ours
- How busy our computers are
Usually, the U.S. Internet is busiest during mid-day (10-12 Pacific time), and again during early evening. The Claris site is busiest at mid-day, earlier in the week (Mon-Wed), and right after we announce a new download. You are more likely to get a "server busy" signal during those times

Web Browser Market Share Leaders
WebReview.com will be updating these stats in the very near future. Browser demographics are rapidly changing, and WebReview is working to present you with more accurate browser statistics using new analysis tools.
We will also be accompanying these statistics with some discussion of their significance, as browser statistics are only accurate in the context of the category of site. Different sites will frequently vary in browser percentages depending on the categories of users that are drawn to the site. Read the Interoperability guide for more on this topic.
